The switchable anchorage chinstrap makes this industrial safety helmet extremely versatile as it enables it to switch between the EN397 standard for hard hats on the ground and EN12492 for climbing helmets. Switching to EN397 mode sets the harness release force to less than 25daN, (250N), releasing the chinstrap if snagged to avoid choking. Switching to EN12492 mode increases the harness release force to more than 25daN, (250N), preventing the release of the chinstrap to minimise the risk of losing your helmet whilst working at height. In addition, the wide size range makes this helmet suitable for a large range of head sizes.
